Peter,
I've taken too long to get back to you and let you know how much I've enjoyed the Puffin Kayak I bought from you. I took it to Oregon in my motorhome and used it on a beautiful lake there. It feels a lot different than my "sit-on-top" but paddled beautifully, tracked well, and I kept up with my friends in their hard-shelled sea kayaks with no problem. I got lots of questions about it from people at the lake and gave several people your web site address. I used it without the top cover and it worked fine.

I have to tell you that we toasted you and the boat with the bottle of wine you gave me. It was wonderful. It really added to the trip. I hope I see you and your wife sometime at the lake (near Tahoe) that you told me about (I do have it written down at home - I just can't remember the name at the moment).
